A Different Approach to Recovery

CONTRAST THERAPY

Contrast therapy alternates between heat and cold to activate the body’s natural recovery mechanisms.

It is designed to enhance overall well-being by supporting post-workout recovery, improving circulation, promoting heat adaptation, and encouraging the body’s natural detoxification processes through sweating.

Recommended Protocol

Please ask us for advice before trying any of the following routines.

  • 8min sauna/ 2min cold plunge - repeat 3 times

  • 10min sauna/ 3min cold plunge - repeat 2 times

  • 20min sauna/ 3-5min cold plunge - 1 time

PRE-WORKOUT SAUNA

Use of controlled heat exposure before exercise to elevate core temperature, increase blood flow and prime the cardiovascular system for physical activity.

POST-WORKOUT SAUNA

The heat opens up the blood vessels, boosting circulation and getting oxygen and nutrients to the muscles. That same increased blood flow also helps flush out lactic acid and other waste, easing soreness and stiffness.

relaxation

The Sauna offers a change to slow down and reset. The heat helps ease muscle tension while nudging the nervous system out of fight-or-flight mode. It also sparks the release of endorphins.

hyperbaric chamber

A hyperbaric chamber is a pressurized environment where you breathe oxygen at an increased atmospheric pressure, helping the body absorb oxygen than normal.

It is designed to maximize oxygenation and microcirculation, helping to support recovery, reduce inflammation, promote restful sleep, enhance aerobic performance, and improve overall wellbeing.

Recommended Protocol

  • MONTH 1 : 3 SESSIONS/ WEEK/ PERSON

  • MONTH 2 : 2 SESSIONS/ WEEK/ PERSON

  • MONTH 3 : 1 SESSIONS/ WEEK/ PERSON

increased tissue oxygenation

Raises the amount of oxygen dissolved in the blood, increasing oxygen availability to tissues.

support in healing wounds & trauma

Helps trauma, wound and radiation-damaged tissues heal.

support in treating infections

Enhances oxygen-dependent immune-cell activity as part of treatment for specific serious infections.

altitude chamber

The altitude chamber stimulates high-altitude conditions by reducing the oxygen available in the air you breathe.

This controlled environment adds a different challenge to the workout. Used as a part of a structured programme, altitude training supports endurance development and help prepare for exercise at higher elevations.

Recommended Protocol

Please ask our team for advice before using the altitude chamber.

  • Start with an introductory session at a comfortable intensity.

  • Let our team tailer the altitude setting, session duration and exercise intensity to your fitness and goals.

  • Build up gradually, allowing time to adapt between sessions.

ENDURANCE TRAINING

Training in reduced oxygen complements a regular endurance programme, with sessions tailors to specific fitness and performance goals.

physical adaptations

Repeated training helps muscles adapt to exercising with less oxygen. Longer periods of altitude exposure also stimulates red blood cell production, supporting oxygen transport to working muscles.
